Well Rebbecca was reading her blog while reading the blog Chris yelled out pick ravinder. Then Rebbecca finished reading her blog and picked me. Ms. Nakada was talking about quiz were going to have tomorrow. Were now watching the Outsiders. Rebbecca was whisperings my name (she is a weirdo). Chris keeps on talking to Diana. Well the bell rang so laters.

You know what I just noticed? RJ stands for reading journal. :O
Ok. So George (Lopez) decided to pick me to do the blog. Not very nice btw. I was planning on being smart and doing my notes. :P Well anyways.... What to write, what to write. I know who I'm gonna pick. Muahahaha! His name rhymes with lavinder. Ray called me weird. *Sigh* Ms. Nakada is passing out papers right now about the "Idiom Review" that we did with Mr. Jones. Luis replaced me for my sweater! Eww, there's a fly next to me!!! Omg omg omg! I got 10/10 on my paper! WooWoo! :) I hear we're gonna be reading like over nine books. Marie says hi lol. Chris is reading the "types of projects" is that how you spell his name? Idk haha. Did you know Halloween is coming up? I was a banana for 6th grade! :D Oh yeah no school on Thursday! What else should I write about? Thanks a lot George. The first project due date is September 30. We're about to watch The Outsiders and were getting our grades done. I wanna watch The Outsiders. * Renaenae doesn't know how to work the blinds. * Louis is laying on my sweater! * 5 minutes later * Well I'm gonna see the movie now haha so bye people.

    First, Marie started to read the blog and then she chose me to do the blog. Then Ms. Nakada told the class to take out the vocabulary notes. After that Ms. Nakada open a book and said what were the conjuctions. While we were writing our notes we started to watch a little movie of conjuctions. The little movie was in cartoons and looked for little kids. Lewis and Rebecca were laughing during the little movie. Then Ms. Nakada told the class to write a sumary what we learned and we learned about figuartive language and grammar structures. Also, she said to take out the chapter summaries 3.1- 3.5. After we started to watch the movie The Outsiders. Then we stopped because the bell was about to ring and everyone is packing up. Okay well bye.

Luis read  the blog then he choose me to do the blog thing. Then Ms. Nakada and the rest of the class were reading. They are talking about the book and keep reading. Now they are taking out the alphasmarts everyone is checking their paragraphs on the alphasmarts to make sure there are no mistakes. It's so quiet and I'm so bored. We went to the computer lab to print our paragraphs and now we are back. We are putting the alphasmarts away. Ms. Nakada is eating in front of the hole class and Diana Mena asked if she can give the whole class one fry to share. Ms. Nakada is still eating her fries she is now done with her burger. Diana  Mena is hungryyy now!!! (She can smell it!) Chris is now passing out the high lighters and Ms. Nakada is passing out the paragraphs that we printed. We are high lighting our paragraphs.We are done high lighting our paragraphs and Ms. Nakada collected them. We are talking about idioms, analogies, metaphors, and similes. We are now writing notes about dialect. Everyone is now packing up and getting ready to leave because the bell is about to ring.

Diana chose me to do the blog even though I didn't want to then Ms. Nakada started talking about the book The Outsiders. Now Ms. Nakada is reading the book then Daniel read. nothing is going on but read read read, oh and daniel read like 5 pages by himself. I am so bored here not doing anything that I almost fell asleep. We are all still reading. Then I found out that soda got Sandy pregnant. They are still reading. Oh, and I am going to choose Marie next. Now they stopped reading but only 2 minutes passed and they are reading again. Now it is almost 12:53. Man, this class goes by fast.

Uhhh, Today we walked into class after lunch. We sat down and started coping the agenda for today. Then Chris read his blog. My favorite part of Chris's blog today was when he said "Diana M. is soo awesome !" :D And no I didn't write that he did! When he was finished reading his blog Rene told him to pick me so he did and I got mad. -__- Later Ms. Nakada told us to read silently and keep our reading logs out while she goes around the class to check if we did the summaries 2.1-2.5 for The Outsiders. (It's so quiet !!) This took exactly 35 minutes. Then Ms.Nakada told us to take out our notebook that has our class note in it. Then we wrote the English Class Scores. The asignments were course outlines, reading log 1.1-1.2, and reading log 2.1-2.5. Then Ms. Nakada told us we can use our cell phones for a calculater to find out what our grade is. Then we started writing more notes on our Vocabury 1 paper. The bell is about to ring, so yeah, bye! Wait. Wait. The bell hasn't rung and it's 2:08. Nevermind. Bye!

Today Maria H. went up and read her blog. Then sadly she called me to write the blog today. Ms. Nakada checked everyones reading journal. Then we had to read The Outsiders silently. Then the class started to read out loud. Then Ms. Nakada was writting a summary with the class about what happened in The Outsiders chapter 4, and then Ms. Nakada asked "what happened to Ponyboy?" and Robert said, "he got wet." Then she explained the homework. After that she told us to turn to our reading writting journal, and today's topic was about elements of plot. We did cornell notes. We were talking about The Outsiders and about it's conflicts. Then she told us to choose a chapter and to write about the characters, setting, and conflict. Then we did the questions for todays notes. Now everybody is doing there paragraphs on the alphasmarts . Osvaldo went to the counseling office and he was doing the blog he came back after about 10 min. He was switching out of Ms. Nakada's class so I offered to take over on the blog . Ms. Nakada is going around checking people who finished their paragraphs on the alphasmarts and Diana M. is so awesome ! (: Diana wrote that. The bell is about to ring so I'm going to stop writing now.

Rene got up and read his blog from yesterday. Then she told the students to open up their journals to their summaries.Then Ms. Nakada asked what happened in chapter three of The Outsiders. Ms. Nakada picked on Diana to read her summary. After that we read part of the book The Outsiders. Then we looked at our step up to writing and asked questions. Then we wrote a summery about what we learned in Step Up To Writing. Ms. Nakada is assigning us Alpha Smarts by alphabetical order. Ms. Nakada is still passing out Alpha Smarts. Finally, Ms. Nakada is done passing out the Alpha Smarts. Now we type our first and last name. Then we got ready to pack up and leave!!

The Writing Process
Step-Up to Writing
hw: RJ 2.1 The Outsiders ch.3

Elsa came up to the front of the class and read the blog from last Friday. Ms. Nakada told us to take out our notes and she stared to teach us about dreafting, revising, editing, and publishing. Then we hade to do our personal writing process and when eveybody else was doing their work. Rebecca said hi to me =].Then  Ms. Nakada told the class is anyone wanted to share there writing process. Robert was the first one to share. After she asked a question to the class: ''What are the 5 steps to writing procces''. Ms. Nakada explained how to revise and edit. Ms. Nakada told us what is going to be the home work. We got another point when we get ten we get a party?=]. Then we took more notes =[. Ms. Nakada told us about green, yellow and red. Ms. Nakada made us do a story about anything we wanted and made us do like a bubble map. Ms. Nakada told us about the perfect paragraph and the bell rang and we left.

HW: Enjoy your weekend!

Today, Daniel read the blog from yesterday. Then they passed out text books. Ms.Nakada then told us to get out our reading journals and told us if we didn't do our summaries last night to do it now. She then went around and checked if we had our homework. While she checked homework we read chapter 3 of The Outsiders. After a while Ms.Nakada told us on how scoring works and talks about chapter 2. We then started our reading/writing notebook and learned about the writing process. In the end Ms. Nakada tells us she published her own book and this is how the first week of school ended.

Ms. Nakada went around collecting the signed papers and said a one side had all of them except one and the other side had 4 missing signed papers. The class started their first reading journal. The class read The Outsiders ch 1. on 9/7/11 and 9/8/11. The class is picking out books to read. The class is reading the first chapter of The Outsiders and wrote a short summary

HW: The Outsiders Chapter 1

My period 5 class came in after lunch and it was soooo hot. Robert was spelling out the agenda as I signed program cards. It is still hot. I passed out the course outlines and took roll.

We read the course outline about what students can expect in Ms. Nakada's class (lots of reading and writing). I also went over homework (20 pages a night is not that hard, people) and book projects. We talked briefly about NaNoWriMo and I can't wait to start hearing stories from this class.

We then went over supplies (paper, pens, notebook for class notes, notebook for reading journals). Donate stuff! It will help keep our class nice!

I passed out copies of The Outsiders and reminded students to read the first chapter tonight or during ET. 

We then started our blog and came up with 2012 Bloggee :). So there we have it! Our first blog of the school year...
